Open iOS Settings, choose Apps, Around a World, then Photos. Choose Full Access or Limited Access. You can also continue without Photos and add places manually.
Around a World works with only the photos you select. To change that selection later, return to the app’s Photos permission page in iOS Settings.
A place may wait for review when the evidence looks like a layover, sits near a border, or conflicts with other metadata. The review screen explains why and lets you decide.
Open the passport and use the add button. Choose a country and, for the United States or Canada, an optional state, province, or territory. Manual entries are clearly marked.
Open Settings in Around a World and choose the rescan option. Rescanning can find newly selected or imported photos while keeping prior review decisions.
In Around a World Settings, choose Erase All Data and confirm. This removes the passport, scan progress, review decisions, and settings stored by the app. It does not change Photos.
Open your passport and choose Share My Passport. Pick Story or Square, then choose any included cover style before opening the iOS share sheet.
Important to know
Around a World has no account and no server-side passport. XYK Labs cannot see, retrieve, or restore your travel data after it is erased or lost. That limitation is a direct consequence of keeping your passport private on your device.
