Privacy, in
plain language.

Pick'em is a game about picks, not a data business. Here's what the app keeps, where, and what it never touches.

Effective August 6, 2026

The short version: no wagering, no ads, no selling data. Pick'em stores what a league needs to run — names, picks, and scores — and nothing else.

League data

Pick'em stores the data a league needs to function: your display name, the leagues you belong to, your picks, settlement results, standings, and league activity events. Picks are hidden from other members until each game locks at kickoff — that secrecy is enforced by the app's backend rules, not just the interface. In the current pre-release build, league data is stored on your device; as Pick'em moves to a hosted backend, league data will sync through our servers so members can play together, under this same policy.

Sign-in

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or continue as a guest. We receive the account identifier and the name those providers share; we don't receive your password. Guest accounts are local to your device.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Pick'em schedules local reminders before your picks lock and updates when results land. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Pick'em includes no third-party advertising, no odds or betting integrations, and no cross-app tracking. The public website may process basic connection data such as IP addresses in ordinary request logs; it does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Team names and logos

Team names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify games. Pick'em is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NFL or any team.

Changes

We may update this policy as Pick'em changes — including when hosted sync ships. The effective date above identifies the current version.
